Columbus of Spiritual Universe

For the 3^rd Anniversary, 2000.

In spite of all the new millennium came. It has happened because of mercy of God, by an immeasurable passion and efforts of all mankind and thanks to courage chosen ones as Jose Cortes. Heirs of an ancient Spanish generation he converted to Orthodoxy and forwarded subjugate unknown spaces. Certainly his mission can be called international since it touched many countries and destinies.

«Let them all to grow in Spirit and become saint men and saint women» – with this only his request he appealed to the Lady who chose him for the great exploit.

A talented icon painter and descendant of those Corteses, the knights and conquerors of America, Jose represented by himself a combination of seemingly opposite qualities - fine spiritual sensitivity, unlimited gentleness to everything alive, and that unbending fortitude, which in these days seems to be hopelessly forgotten and completely lost by the mankind. He went by his only way and did not learn how to lose or retreat.

During 15 years Jose Cortes faithfully served to the miracle being the only guardian of a marvelous icon of the Mother of God, which he miraculously acquired in Athon, Greece. He traveled across all the continents with the myrrh-streaming and fragrant shrine on his chest helping people in their daily living problems, calling the world to penitence, saving and protecting them from evil. Entrusted in the only and the most reliable hands the mercy of Christ and the Mother of God visited again our sinful earth at the end of times.

On the night of October 31, 1997 Jose Cortes created his deed. It has happened in Athens because of bedrail of the enemy of God. This satanic action was preceded by cruel persecution lie, slander, and a sequence of low cheating and betrayals. His death outraged the world and filled it with a sorrow. In spite of seemingly nonsense this death as the entire life of the Chosen one, of course, was not accidental. Jose Cortes won this world.

His body found the eternal rest on the holy land of Jordanville, the North of New York state, USA. Life continues and celebrates. The new millennium came and fair hands of Jose as all his restless prayers for us continue to cover and save to give us an opportunity to survive and grow up in Spirit. He honestly and till the end performed his unique Duty. Let the most sacred dream of all his life come true!
